Non-resident Ambassador of Mongolia to Italy, Mr.J.Enkhsaikhan presented his credentials to President of the Italian Republic, Mr. Giorgion Napolitano on March 10, 2009.

After the credentials presentation ceremony, President Giorgio Napolitano received the Mongolian Ambassador and the two talked about developing bilateral political and economic relations.
The Ambassador reminded the President of the latter’s standing invitation to visit Mongolia and exchanged views on celebrating at a high political level, in 2010, the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The same day Ambassador Mr.J.Enkhsaikhan met with the Foreign Minister of Italy, the Minister for economic development and other officials to brief them of the economic, trade and investment conditions in Mongolia.

He discussed with the dignitaries the possibility for calling a Mongolia-Italy Intergovernmental Committee meeting this year.
