On 15 October Ambassador J.Enkhsaikhan met with Ms.Ulrike Rabmer –Koller, Vice President of Economic Chamber for Upper Austria and discussed about the NO-DIG Technology which relates to the examination, cleaning and repairing of pipelines without digging out the pipes.

The traditional approach to pipeline repair by excavation is expensive, time-consuming and generally causes huge traffic disruptions. Austria has been using the NO-DIG technology for more than 25 years for successful, cost-effective and environmentally friendly rehabilitation of defective pipes in a short time and without infrastructural damage. Ambassador J.Enkhsaikhan said that Mongolia was interested in cooperating with Austria in this area and learning from the Austrian experience.
