Amb. J. Enkhsaikhan participated in Ulaanbaatar in the inaugural meeting and first conference of the newly established Mongolian NGO “Institute of Geopolitical Studies -(IGS)”.

The conference was organized by the Institute in collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia. The opening session of the conference entitled “New Environment in Geopolitics: Researchers’ Views”, was attended by H.E. Mr. G. Zandanshatar, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia, Mr.Ya. Batsuuri, Chair of Security and Foreign Affairs Standing Committee of the State Great Hural (parliament) of Mongolia, foreign policy advisers of the President and Prime Minister of Mongolia and others.
Reports were presented by Dr. D.Myagmar, Director of IGS on geopolitical security and how it is affecting Mongolia, Dr. J. Choinhor, Head of scientific council of IGS on international geopolitical environment and the emerging trends, Dr. Ch. Hashchuluun, member of scientific council of IGS on new geopolitical factors affecting development policy of Mongolia and Dr. L.Tsedendamba, member of scientific council of IGS on geo-economic potential of Mongolia and cluster attitude. Amb. J. Enkhsaikhan, one of the founding members of the IGS, presented a report on nuclear security and Mongolia’s cooperation with IAEA.
