On April 23, President Ts.Elbegdorj held meetings with representatives of civil society organizations, and citizens.

President meets with Ch. Erdene, author of ‘Complete Theory of the Universe'

President Elbegdorj met with Mr.Erdene, a renowned academian, who has been conducting research on two major scientific topics over the last two decades. The main object of Ch.Erdene’s studies has been theoretical physics for the last twelve years, resulting in his recent publication on the Complete Theory of the Universe which was first introduced by Albert Einstein in 1923.

Ch. Erdene said that the overall results of his research will be included in his book ‘Principae Mathematica,’ which is soon to be published. ‘Principae Mathematica’ is already registered in the ‘The Physical Review’ magazine. The scholar says the essentials of the Super Unity theory are fully captured in his book. “We are paying close attention to the results of your study, and are ready to cooperate to introduce your works internationally,” President Elbegdorj remarked.

Proposal to build Modun Khaan Monument and Complex is made

President Elbegdorj met with initiators of Modun Khaan Monument project, and MP, Z. Altai, supporter of the project. Initiators of the project proceeded with the introduction of the complex, which carries the idea of promoting the history and legacy, culture and tradition of the Hun Dynasty (Hunnu Dynasty) for the public, and build a national complex with a historic theme.

After carefully studying the blueprint of the complex, the President said that there are several project proposals being examined currently from citizens and organizations endorsing Mongolia’s historical and cultural heritage. “The possibilities for those complexes, which hold great importance for maintaining and promoting our culture and national pride should be considered,” the President stressed.

President meets representatives of the Union for Victims of Political Purges

President Elbegdorj met D.Tsogtbaatar, Head of the Union for Victims of Political Purges, and other member of the Union. Members of the Union have requested cooperation for the revision of the Law on Compensation for Victims of Political Purges. In addition, the Union representatives informed the President about human rights activities the Union is planning to undertake, such as an idea to award “Human Rights Order” by the President’s decree, to those who have excelled in the field. President Elbegdorj said he would study the possibilities of cooperation on the Law on Compensation for Victims of Political Purges and requested the Union’s active participation in the current contest for proposals for State awards and titles policy.

President meets the youngest teacher in Mongolia

President Elbegdorj hears views to protect human rights E. Enkhpurev meets the President

Mongolia’s youngest teacher and Principal of Es Erdem School E.Enkhpurev met President Elbegdorj on April 23 for the second time, with ample accomplishments such as graduating over 40 students from his school and assisting over 300 students in need of supplementary lessons. In 2004, E. Enkhpurev met then Prime Minister of Mongolia, Elbegdorj
Tsakhia, and introduced a project for intensive, short-term curriculum for compulsory education.

Last year, NHK, the national television of Japan, filmed a documentary about E. Enkhpurev’s methods of teaching. As a result, he received a five-year cooperation notice from the Education Ministry of Japan, from which the ministry will decide on their cooperation after observing his methods for the duration of five years.

According to E.Enkhpurev, every individual’s learning style is unique, thus, requiring a curriculum to be flexible and reactive. The President wished success for E. Enkhpurev’s future deeds, and expressed content with his achievements at so young an age.

President meets representatives of ‘World Mongols’ non-governmental organization

‘World Mongols’ get the President’s support for their documentary work

The same day, President Elbegdorj met with representatives of the nongovernmental organization ‘World Mongols,’ whose purpose is to explore the lifestyle, culture, and historical identity of Mongols around the world.

‘World Mongols’ has created a fifteen-episode documentary about Dongxiang minority of China, Oirads of Xinjiang, Mongols of Tsast, Mongols in Turkey and Iran, all of whom are now reminiscences of ancient Mongolian invasions.

President Elbegdorj highly appreciated the importance of their documentary that provides valuable historical and contemporary insight for its viewers, and expressed his support and cooperation for further activities of the organization.
