Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The State Honored Sportsman and World champion Kh.Tsagaanbaatar won a gold medal in the judo World Cup competitions held May 29-30 in São Paulo city, Brazil. This wrestling championship games are the fourth qualifying tournament for the 2012 Olympic Games.
Kh.Tsagaanbaatar who competed in the weight category of 66 kg defeated his rivals Popiel Michal (Canada), Lourence Penilson and Cunha Leandro (both Brazil). At the contest for the gold, Tsagaanbaatar beat Fasie Dan from Romania. This medal is the fourth gold one won by him at World Cup competitions.
An international master of sports S.Nyam-Ochir won a bronze medal at men's 73 kg contest, whereas M.Bundmaa won a silver medal at the contest of women's 52 kg.
Other Mongolians D.Gankhuyag and B.Togoldor (both men's +100) will compete on Sunday 30 May.
