Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The second part of the seminar titled "Policy of Mongolia's Industry" was held on 3-4 June at the "Agreement" hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) of Mongolia. The first part of this seminar was held co-organized on February 24-25 in Ulaanbaatar by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the MFAT.
At the seminar, research papers on Mongolia's industrial policy have been presented by L. Alcorta, Director of the Research and Statistics Branch of the UNIDO; P. Pacheco-Lopez, expert of the Branch; J. Weiss, Professor of the University of Bradford (UK); G. Davis, Professor of the University of Colorado (USA); H. Kuffner, Director-general of the International Wool Textile Organization and by Ralph Van Gelder, animal husbandry expert.
The seminar was attended by the representatives of the Ministries of Foreign affairs, of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, of Finance, as well as of the National Committee of Reform and Development, FIFTA, Department of Small- and Middle-sized Production and other state organizations and NGOs. The two-day seminar has thoroughly discussed Mongolia’s industrial policy at expert level.
