Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On 9 June the Speaker of Mongolian parliament D.Demberel has received H. E. Mr. Martin Sajdic, the Ambassador of Austria to Mongolia.

At the meeting the Speaker noted that the ties and collaboration between the two countries have been expanding in recent times. He said the Austrian help in deepening the democracy and renovation in Mongolia has been appreciated here.

While talking about deepening ties between the parliaments, the Speaker recalled how he had met last year with B.Pramer, the Speaker of the Austrian parliament during the Interparliamentary Union meeting.

Mr. Sajdic said his diplomatic life is connected with Mongolia. Although being in China, he is happy to be responsible for Mongolia, and always tries to learn more about Mongolia and its affairs and to make a contribution to it, he said. He said that a delegation headed by the Vice-Speaker of Austria will pay Mongolia a visit this July.

Mr. Demberel reminded the Ambassador that the head of the Austrian parliament had a standing invitation to visit Mongolia, and that the delegation headed by Pramer and her deputy would be most welcome in Mongolia. He expressed the hope that Ambassador Sajdic would do his utmost to widen the cooperation between the two countries.
