At the cabinet meeting, ‘National Strategy to combat bogus medicines’ was appraised.

Relevant ministers were given the duty to approve the strategy and related action plan, organize implementation throughout the nation, resolve required funding by means of sector’s budget, foreign loan and assistance and report implementation process and result to government.

The national strategy stated to combat bogus medical products that can harm human health, such as pharmaceuticals and hospital equipment, biological active products, beauty products, eye glasses and contact lens.
