Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Forum of World Mongolians will be held on July 16-18 this year in Ulan-Ude city, Russia. Participation of Mongolian-speakers from 10 countries of the world is expected.
On the first day of the forum, ties and cooperation of Mongolian nations will be discussed. An international scientific conference entitled "Globalization and the Mongolian world" will be organized on the second day by the Institute of Mongolian, Buddhism and Tibetan Studies of Russia's Academy of Sciences with participation of famous Mongolian studies scholars and researchers. The conference will be held in the Mongolian, English, Russian and Chinese languages. Sports and cultural events will take place as well.
After this, the participants will discuss the ways and means of developing mutually beneficial economic cooperation. According to organizers, they will try to make the event more interesting. Thus for example, horse-race trainers from Ulaanbaatar are expected to attend the sports and cultural events of the forum, special horse travelers will go to Ulan-Ude and convey personal greetings of former and current Presidents of Mongolia addressed to the next generation of Mongolians which is later expected to be approved by the World Mongolians' forum at an opening ceremony of the "Altargana-2010" international festival to start on July 23 in Ulaanbaatar. The sports events will include Buryat archery and Mongolian national wrestling competitions.
