National Consultations on "The Pressing Issues for Mongolia's Economically Effective Foreign Policy" was held on October 2 in Ulaanbaatar. Prime Minister S. Bayar , relevant Ministers, newly appointed Mongolian Ambassadors, Aimag governors, economic and foreign policy experts and scholars attended the meeting. It was decided that a draft Economically Effective Foreign Policy Program for Mongolia would be presented to the Government for its consideration and adoption. The program would contain five parts:

1. foreign trade;
   
2. investment;
   
3. bilateral and multilateral cooperation;
   
4. development loans and assistance; and
   
5. promoting Mongolia on foreign markets.
