On October 29, Prime Minister S. Batbold was called on by S.V. Kirienko, President of Russia’s Rosatom State Corporation to share views on collaboration. At the meeting, they agreed to establish a joint company and put it into operation without wasting time.

After meeting with the Prime Minister, the Russian delegation led by Mr. Kirienko was received by Foreign Minister G. ZandanshatarAt the meeting, they discussed collaboration in uranium extraction and the nuclear energy sector. The sides also had detailed dialogue about bringing Mongolia-Russia’s joint company ‘Dornod Uranium’ into operation without losing time, developing mutually effective cooperation in the uranium sector and agreed on basic principles. They shared views on seeking the best ways to boost collaboration.
