With aims to contribute to the development of activities and cooperation of member- countries and observer countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), G.Zandanshatar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia proposed to hold a forum of scientists of SCO countries in Ulaanbaatar in 2012.
He sounded this initiative in his speech at an enlarged meeting of the Council of Heads of Governments (Prime Ministers) of SCO memberstates held in Tajikistan’s capital Dushanbe on November 25, 2010. As known, the representatives of the member States of the SCO have agreed to further boost economic and regional cooperation within the SCO framework.
