According to the announced heightened state of alert, the secondary schools’ second-quarter holiday has been prolonged to November 17, but does not mean that
pupils are being left without lessons.

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science has initiated preparations to ensure that lessons are broadcast on the following Mongolian TV channels: National Public, ‘Education’, and others, such as: ‘MN25’, ‘TV5’, ‘TV8’, ‘TV9’, ‘UBS’, ‘C1’, ‘NTV’, ‘TM’, ‘STV’, ‘AIST’ and ‘Eagle’. Other media organizations are also contributing to these televised lessons.
According to schools’ curricula and programs, primary grade pupils are receiving: Mongolian language and math lessons, while older children are receiving: math, Mongolian, Russian and English languages, as well as chemistry, physics, biology, geography and history lessons.
These lessons will be available from November 9 to 17 and the tuition is being provided by 100 teachers and experts. Lesson schedules are being announced in daily newspapers and on TV channels, in addition to which, all the lessons can be accessed on the Ministry’s www.hicheel.mn website.
