Parliament resolved to distribute Tgs120,000 to each citizen in 2010 for a total of Tgs324 billion from the Human Development Fund which is formed with revenues from the mining sector.

In compliance with the resolution approved by parliament on December 30, the size of shares from the Human Development Fund being given to Mongolians was fixed. The government is assigned to distribute money twice from the fund with the first distribution of Tgs70,000 starting from February.

Most MPs agree that it is necessary to provide support and increase the amount of share in every case possible because allowances for children and newly-wed couples were stopped and so many people are living poorly.
